What volunteering means here
Before You Apply
Volunteering here is not decorative. Every role below exists because a program cannot run without it — and each one lists the real commitment up front.
- Show up when you said you would, or tell us early. Predictability matters more than hours.
- Participant information stays confidential, including from your family and social media.
- Take direction from site leads and residents, including when it differs from your instinct.
- Photography is only allowed with explicit, documented consent.
- Tell us if something felt wrong. We would rather hear it than not.
Your application is used only to evaluate and place you in a volunteer role. It is not shared with funders or partners. You may request deletion at any time.

Volunteer FAQs
- Can I try a shift before committing?
- Yes. Jireh Fund support roles are designed exactly for that. Come once and decide afterward.
- I have limited mobility. Are there roles for me?
- Yes. We offer seated tasks and remote or behind-the-scenes roles. Tell us what works and we will match it.
- How long does the application take?
- About eight minutes. We respond within five business days.
- Can my teenager volunteer with me?
- Yes — Jireh Fund support and group service days welcome ages 12–14 with an accompanying adult. Nursing Scholarship events, such as outreach or fundraisers, may have different age guidelines; check the specific opportunity.
