Terms of Use

The Site exists to share information about LoveWorks Outreach, our mission, programs, and charitable activities — including family and financial assistance, youth and adolescent mentoring and empowerment programs, community outreach, events, fundraising, and the Legacy of Care Nursing Scholarship — and to provide ways for visitors to get involved through donations, volunteering, applications, and communication sign-ups.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, information on the Site is provided for general informational purposes only.

• Donations made through the Site are processed by a third-party payment processor. LoveWorks does not receive or store your full payment card number; the processor handles that information under its own security and privacy practices. [VERIFY]: name the specific processor here once selected.

If you believe a donation was made in error — such as a duplicate charge or incorrect amount — please contact us using the information in Section 2.19, and we will review the request in good faith. We reserve the right to decline a refund request where a review does not support one.
• LoveWorks reserves the right to decline, cancel, or reverse any donation reasonably suspected to be fraudulent, unauthorized, or made in violation of these Terms.

• Scholarship opportunities described on the Site may be subject to eligibility requirements, application deadlines, and selection criteria established by LoveWorks Outreach, which may be updated from time to time. • Submission of a volunteer application does not guarantee acceptance into a volunteer role.
• LoveWorks may conduct screening appropriate to a given role, which may include a background check for roles involving contact with program participants, including minors.
• Applicants must provide truthful and accurate information. Additional requirements, training, or documentation may apply depending on the specific volunteer role.

LoveWorks' mission includes mentoring and empowering adolescents, and portions of the Site describe youth-focused programs. Accordingly:

• The Site is not exclusively intended for adult use — program information relevant to adolescents and families is part of the Site's content.
• We ask that a parent or legal guardian be involved in any registration, application, or information submission made on behalf of a minor participating in a LoveWorks program.
• The Site is not directed to children under 13 for purposes of independently submitting personal information, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child under 13 through the Site without parental/guardian involvement. See our Privacy Policy for further detail.
• Any photo, video, story, or testimonial involving a minor requires separate parental/guardian consent, obtained outside of ordinary program participation — see Section 2.7 and our Privacy Policy.

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any application, form, or donation;
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with one;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, our systems, accounts, or networks, or circumvent any security measure;
• Interfere with or disrupt the Site's functionality, servers, or networks, or introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code;
• Use bots, scrapers, or other automated means to access or extract data from the Site without our prior written permission;
• Misuse the Site's donation system, including attempting fraudulent transactions;
• Collect or harvest personal information about other users without authorization;
• Harass, threaten, or abuse any other user, volunteer, or LoveWorks representative through the Site.

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the Site, at our discretion, for conduct we reasonably believe violates these Terms.

The Site may allow you to submit information or content through contact forms, scholarship or volunteer applications, event registrations, testimonials, stories, photos, or videos ("User Content").

• You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit any information or content you provide, and that it does not infringe any third party's rights.
• Ordinary form submissions (such as a contact inquiry, scholarship application, or volunteer application) are collected and used solely to respond to your request or administer the relevant program, as described in our Privacy Policy — submitting such a form does not, by itself, grant LoveWorks any right to publish or promote that content.
• Content submitted specifically for publication (such as a testimonial, story, or photo provided in connection with a media release) is used only according to the scope of consent you provide at the time of submission. LoveWorks does not treat general program participation as consent to publish your (or your child's) content — see our Privacy Policy for how media consent works.
• LoveWorks reserves the right to decline to publish, or to remove, any User Content at its discretion, including content that is inaccurate, inappropriate, or submitted in violation of these Terms.

The Site — including its text, graphics, logos, photographs, videos, program names (such as "The Jireh Fund" and "Legacy of Care"), and overall design (excluding User Content and third-party content) — is owned by or licensed to LoveWorks Outreach and is protected by copyright and other applicable intellectual property laws.

You may view, download, and print content from the Site for your own personal, non-commercial use, provided you retain all copyright and proprietary notices. Except as permitted by law or with our prior written permission, you may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, or create derivative works from the Site's content, or use LoveWorks' name, logo, or program names in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation without authorization.

The Site may link to, or make use of, third-party websites and services — including payment processors, social media platforms, email and SMS providers, event-registration tools, and application platforms — that are not owned or controlled by LoveWorks.

• We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, security, or privacy practices of any third-party site or service. Use of a third-party service through the Site may be subject to that provider's own terms and privacy policy, which we encourage you to review. Inclusion of a link does not imply our endorsement of that third party.

We aim to keep information on the Site current and accurate but cannot guarantee that all content is complete, accurate, or up to date at all times. Program details, scholarship criteria, event information, and similar content may change without prior notice.

The Site may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the Site.

Information on the Site relating to our programs, financial assistance, or scholarship opportunities is provided for general informational purposes and is not intended as legal, financial, tax, medical, or other professional advice. You should consult a qualified professional regarding your specific circumstances.

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LoveWorks Outreach and its directors, officers, employees, and volunteers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your access to or use of the Site — even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any liability that cannot be limited or waived under applicable law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LoveWorks Outreach and its directors, officers, employees, and volunteers from any claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the Site, or applicable law. Revisions will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Material changes may also be noted with a notice on our homepage. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Accessibility Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and LoveWorks Outreach regarding use of the Site, superseding any prior agreements regarding the Site.
