Turning a Lifetime of Love Into a Legacy of Service.

LoveWorks Outreach was born from love—a love that began more than 32 years ago and continues to make a difference today.
My late wife was not only the love of my life; she was a nurse who devoted more than 30 years to caring for others. She genuinely loved her profession and, more importantly, she loved people. Caring for others wasn't simply a job to her—it was a calling.
Throughout our years together, we shared a passion for helping people who were facing difficult circumstances. Whenever we saw a family struggling or someone in need, we did what we could to help. Sometimes it was financial assistance. Sometimes it was simply being there. And sometimes it was an act of kindness that may have seemed small to us but meant everything to someone else.
We never did those things for recognition. We did them because we believed that when you have the ability to help someone, you should.
After losing my wife, I found myself reflecting on the life we built together and the impact she had on the people around her. I knew that her story—and the way she lived her life—should not end with her passing.
LoveWorks Outreach was created to carry her spirit of compassion forward.
The name LoveWorks represents something we believed throughout our marriage: love is more than something you feel—it is something you do.
Love works when we feed a family that is struggling.
Love works when we help someone facing an unexpected hardship.
Love works when we encourage a young person to pursue their dreams.
Love works when we give hope to someone who feels forgotten.
And love works when we choose to serve others simply because they need a helping hand.
Through LoveWorks Outreach, we are building a legacy of compassion, service, and opportunity in her honor. Our mission is to continue helping individuals and families in need while creating meaningful opportunities for people to build a better future.
Her life was dedicated to caring for others. Now, through LoveWorks Outreach, that commitment continues.
Every family we help, every person we encourage, every student we support, and every life we touch becomes another chapter in the legacy she left behind.
She spent her life caring for people.
I am committed to making sure that love keeps working.
This is her legacy.
This is LoveWorks Outreach.
In loving memory of Rhonda Love, whose compassion, kindness, and lifelong commitment to caring for others continue to inspire every act of service carried out through LoveWorks Outreach.
Values
The values that guide our work
Dignity first
People are the experts on their own lives. Every program is designed with neighbors, not for them.
Measured honesty
We publish what worked, what did not, and what we changed as a result.
Shared ownership
Lasting change is built with residents, partners, funders, and volunteers together.
Practical hope
Optimism is only useful when it is paired with resources, follow-through, and accountability.
Our Commitment to the Community
We commit to three things in public: local residents hold at least a third of our funding decisions, we never publish a participant's story without their written consent and review, and we report what we ended alongside what we grew.
A Note From Our Executive Director
I never imagined I would find myself starting a nonprofit. But grief has a way of asking us to become something we never planned to be.
For 32 years, I was married to a remarkable woman named Rhonda. She spent more than three decades as a nurse — not because it was a job, but because it was who she was. She showed up for people on their hardest days, held their hands when no one else would, and never once treated her compassion as though it were in limited supply. Together, we spent our marriage giving our time, our resources, and our hearts to people who were struggling. It was never something we talked about doing someday. It was simply how we lived.
When I lost her, I had a choice to make: let that loss be the end of something, or let it be the beginning of something bigger than either of us ever built alone. I chose the second. LoveWorks Outreach is what happens when a promise to keep loving refuses to end just because a life does.

This organization carries her spirit forward — not as a memorial frozen in the past, but as something living, growing, and reaching new people every day. Because here's what I've learned: real change doesn't come from one person, no matter how much love they carry. It comes from all of us, choosing again and again to show up for one another.
That's where you come in.
Whether you give financially, volunteer your time, partner with us, share our story with someone who needs to hear it, or simply reach out to a neighbor who's struggling — you are part of this. You don't need a grand gesture to make a difference. Small acts of care, multiplied across a community, become something powerful. Every dollar, every hour, every kindness matters. None of it is too small.
I won't pretend that loss doesn't still visit me. It does. But I've also found something unexpected on the other side of grief: purpose. Hope. The belief that love, when put into action, doesn't just honor the past — it builds the future.
So I invite you to join us. Not because we need one more supporter, but because the world needs one more reason to believe that people still show up for each other.
Let's make love work — together.
With gratitude and hope,
Jeff LoveFounder & Executive Director
